Lore is an app that is available to our patients on original Medicare who get their primary care from North Star Health. Our patients use Lore to reflect on and in improve in whatever ways are  important to them, including to:

  • Focus on sleep and feeling more rested
  • Think about ways to solve a challenging problem
  • Get something off your chest
  • Ease into a new habit you’ve been putting off
  • Message with someone who went through a health issue similar to yours
  • Talk about whatever’s important to you — like exercise, nutrition, stress, or aging well

When you spend time in Lore, you earn points which can be converted to up to $600 in gift cards for groceries at local stores. If you know you are eligible (especially if you got an email or letter from Lore and North Star Health), you can sign up downloading the Lore Health app from the Apple or Google Play store and creating an account. Who is invited to join Lore?

Lore is available to people with original Medicare who get the bulk of their care from North Star Health providers.  Lore is available at no additional cost, in addition to your current coverage and benefits (which stay the same).

How do I earn gift cards in Lore, and where can I spend them?

Certain conversations with LoreBot are eligible for points, and you can redeem those points for a reloadable gift card.

Gift cards can be used at many local and national retailers, like grocery stores. Available options depend on your specific health plan.

Is Lore available in other languages?

One of Lore’s main features, LoreBot, can chat in almost any language. Just use your preferred language when you chat—LoreBot will follow your lead. Lore’s sign-up process is currently in English only.

How do I know Lore is a legitimate program?

Lore Health is registered as an ACO with the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS), and this information is publicly available.

How do I know my conversations with LoreBot and any other data I provide are secure?

Lore is designed to keep your information private. Your conversations in Lore are only visible to you, unless you choose to share them. Lore does not sell user data or show ads.

Additionally, Lore follows industry-standard privacy and security practices, including regular security reviews and compliance checks. Lore is HiTrust e1 certified and uses industry-standard encryption to protect user information.

Does Lore sell user data or advertise to users?

No, Lore does not sell any user data and does not allow advertising of any products or services to Lore users. Your privacy matters to us.
